Our Projects

In 2020 Jun’jarin developed a Capacity Building and Negotiation Framework designed to move Indigenous Organisations from dependence on third parties to independence as thriving, culturally legitimate business enterprises.

In December 2020, Jun’jarin Pty Ltd was awarded a grant of over $1.58 million from the Commonwealth Government to roll out phase 1 of this project to a RNTBC in North Queensland.

Following the success of this initial project, in March 2022 the Commonwealth Government funded Jun’jarin with a further $1.4 million to deliver a second project to a RNTBC in Western Queensland.

In addition to these activities, Jun’jarin has been engaged by various State Government agencies to provide specialist advice and assistance:

·       To provide strategic indigenous engagement advice to the Great Walks project (Tourism)

·       To assist with negotiations for the Cairns Hospital Redevelopment (Queensland Health)

·       To provide cultural awareness training (Crown Law)

·       To provide strategic indigenous engagement advice in respect of water planning.

We have the technical knowledge, experience, networks, and capability to provide the services you need.
